Manchester City lose a three point gap over their rivals Manchester United as they lost against the bottom side Sunderland this Wednesday. City's former winger Adam Johnson got the lone goal of the match which proved to be deadly for the Champions later on in the match. This was City's first away defeat since April.

Man City looked to find the equalizer but were not able to put the ball past the Sunderland keeper Simon Mignolet who was very impressive in front of the goal.
