Two penalties from Mikel Arteta were more than enough for Arsenal to seal their victory against West Bromwich Albion at the Emirates Stadium this Saturday. Arsenal started the match with Wilshere, Arteta, Chamberlain, Gervinho, Cazorla and Giroud up front. Gervinho and Chamberlain had their chances in the starting line up with injury to Walcott, and Podolski who was on the bench.

Early bursts from the Arsenal front line made it difficult for the West Brom defense and eventually they conceded a penalty in the 26th minute, which went in favor of the gunners as there was no contact from Steven Reid on Cazorla. Mikel Arteta saw the ball through the middle of the West Brom goal, marking his first conversion from a penalty spot this season.

In the second half, Oxlade-Chamberlain was tipped off by Chris Brunt which made way for another penalty which was cooling converted by Arteta. Jack Wishere was the stand out performer for the gunners with his fabulous ball control and bursting runs with the ball.

Arsenal now move on to sixth in the table, two points behind West Brom who are in fifth with 26 points from 16 matches.
