Arsenal scored five against their City rivals Tottenham this Saturday as their former striker Emmanuel Adebayor was sent off in the 19th minute. A high boot on Santi Cazola saw a straight red for Adebayor who opened the scoring for Spurs in the 10th minute. The match was then controlled by the Arsenal mid-field, who dominated the most of the first half from then on.

Tottenham Hotspur    2     Adebayor, Bale
Arsenal ease past Spurs
Santi Cazola ripped the Spurs defense apart with his magical touches and even scored, which marked his first goal for Arsenal at the Emirates. Mertesackar, Podolski, Giroud and Walcott scored one goal each which placed them 6th in the table with 19 points from 12 matches.
Gareth Bale managed to pull a goal back for Spurs in the 70th minute but it was too late for them to pull out something from there on. Client Dempsey came on as a sub in the second half who played along with Defoe and Bale, the trio in the front for Tottenham this weekend.
Spurs now are eight in the table with three straight loses to Wigan, City and Arsenal. A worrying time for Andre Villas-Boas.
